Living Room

Living Room is a work that was exhibited in the In-Situ Sculpture Festival in Mosman. It is made from Electroluminescent wires (EL wires) that glow at night. We chose several different colours to depict an image of an interior which was built as almost life size. The work was installed at a Westpac branch on Military Road, Mosman.

The work is about the intersections of different sectors of a city, between the commercial and the residential. These intersections often produce interesting buildings and uses of space. Over time, boundaries shift and economic factors change, so a lot of residential buildings become commercial and vice versa. Through this work, we would like to raise these issues for discussion.
